Cillit Bang FC paraded their new signing Ben to replace Long having played his last game, it was a great debut scoring his first goal and helping the team to back-to-back wins. The match was made difficult after letting a four goal lead slip in the first part of the second half and proving very lucky to grasp the lead and win back.
Cillit Bang FC for once were enjoying a good spell of possession, moving the ball around the pitch, what was lacking was constant shots on target, but it was early doors and CBFC could only contribute to not establishing the lead for themselves... like Lambon conceding a penalty.
Penalty Lambon tries to nick the ball off the defender inside his own area. Penalty taken straight in off the post, on form penalty saver M. Stroud had no chance to save it.
Goal 1-1 [Wrench] Immediately from kick off B. Stroud and Lambon link up with a one-two, B. Stroud side passes it into Wrench's run and his quick shot surprising the keeper who fumbles the ball into the goal.
Both teams had chances to take the lead, both goalkeepers making great saves from close range. At last B. Stroud had the composure to take the lead.
Goal 2-1 [B. Stroud] Lambon in defence clears the ball upfield, B. Stroud heads after it, side foots it confidently past the goalkeeper.
Goal 3-1 [B. Stroud] Lambon receives the ball from M. Stroud passes it through, B. Stroud takes it to the left, hits it back across the keeper. Cillit Bang FC's 100th goal in league football.
Ben makes his debut and instantly almost scores, after winning the ball. M. Stroud makes more saves, he cannot prevent conceding the second goal. Unluckily for him a disallowed goal was ruled out for shooting inside the area. A piece of super skill by Lambon to evade the attacker was of great class.
Goal 4-2 [Wrench] From the half way line, Wrench brings the ball in field with a step over and powers the ball into the goal.
Attack turned to defence, the possession of the ball was lost as Dorset Dynamos atempted to find a way through, B. Stroud had problems converting his numerous one on ones.
Own Goal Talking of class, an attack from Dorset Dynamos was abruptly brought to a halt by Mike with an exquisite outside of the right boot pass back to M. Stroud... or into the far corner giving M. Stroud no chance. Celebration - arms out in the air.
Goal 5-3 [Ben] Ben restores the two goal lead, intercepting the goalkeeper's pass and slams it in with the outside of his boot. Debut Goal.
Goal 6-3 [Lambon] Lambon nicks the ball from the defender at the same time as setting the ball up nicely for himself to have a shot from a tight angle.
The three goal lead was cut back to two and almost one if not for a great save by M. Stroud just before the whistle of half-time.

Mike moving into the striker position immediately forces the keeper into a save just moments into the half.
Goal 7-4 [Lucho] Goalkeeper makes a bad mistake with a pass allowing Lucho to intercept the pass, quickly firing in skillfully with the outside of his boot.
Dorset Dynamos unlucky not to score after a great shot came crashing off the post, M. Stroud at full stretch.
Goal 8-4 [Lambon] Blocking a lax pass by Ben the ball falls to Lambon with plenty of time for him to score and adding to a healthy lead.
It was pivotal the lead was built up as the match started to prove of great difficulty to create chances and Cillit Bang were uner the cosh, a clearly good footballer from Dorset Dynamos scored twice, wove around CBFC players, the lead was cut to one with a poor pass out from M. Stroud. Disappointment followed as the scores were brought level and a four goal lead was wasted, uncertainty was creeping in, waiting for the ball instead of running to the ball cost the equalising goal.
Goal 9-8 [B. Stroud] Finally after a poor spell of the match, M. Stroud rolls the ball to Wrench who slips the ball across to the cool and calmly shooting of B. Stroud to add to another collection of hat-tricks.
Injury The playmaker on Dorset Dynamos pulled up with an injury, needing a sub. At the same time their goalkeeper position had a change of players.
Goal 10-8 [B. Stroud] To seal the win a quality move from back to front, M. Stroud rolls it to Ben with a one touch poke round to B. Stroud, cushioning the ball into Wrench's run, his touch to set himself of great class... his shot poor, B. Stroud able to pick up the pieces and makes the final moments of the game safe. Sigh of relief.
