First Half
Goal 0-1 // Norfolk & Chance
Despite starting the match like a house on fire in the middle of summer all but one shot was blocked to good defending. From the pressure a massive clearance from a corner fell into the CBFC half for Big Bird to mop up. Looking to pass first time to Gonzo the lone defender passed straight to the Norfolk attacker, with a touch taking the ball between Big Bird and keeper the pre-occupied Fozzie had to get back into the game after kicking a ball back to another pitch. With not enough time to close down the striker the space available to shoot was too great to pass up.
Goal 1-1 // 12 Rizzo - Assist 1 Fozzie
Fozzie's drop kick was controlled by Rizzo taken with a turn before a strike through the defender's legs into the far side netting despite the goalkeeper's attempted dive.
Goal 1-2 // Norfolk & Chance
Having the chance to take the lead after crafting a simple enough chance Nick should have scored, a further kick in the teeth followed as Nick's intercepted pass put Norfolk through 3 on 1. Fozzie off his line could not get down to the deflected shot heading in the corner.
Big Bird's eyes lit up when he dispossess the eager defender with the keeper out of position, another clanger of a shot proved severe.

Fozzie made a few saves of his own stamping authority on the match however the next goal was completely unfortunate. Rizzo picking up the ball in his half looked to punt the ball forwards towards Big Bird, the pass was blocked diverting the ball towards goal, Fozzie close to the penalty spot could not stop the bizarre goal.
Goal 1-4 // Norfolk & Chance
Those missed chance and early dominance proved killer when facing the three goal deficit at half time, unmarked with plenty of space Norfolk turned had Big Bird beaten for pace with the unstoppable shot just as pacey underneath the crossbar.
More fouls in the first half than usual from late challenges, Nick should have been given advantage from the referee after staying on his feet turning 90 degrees in field past another player ready to shoot with a great opening at the end to shorten the goal difference. Rizzo tested the keeper with a low driven free kick.
Second Half
Goal 1-5 // Norfolk & Chance - Own Goal 8 Big Bird
Somehow Norfolk had scored 5 goals from just 3 shots on target (goalscoring shots). Poor Big Bird was on the wrong end of a bad game, having seemingly blocked a corner flag bound shot the ball travelled back across goal into the far corner.
Goal 2-5 // 12 Rizzo
Rizzo bit back with some of the game's lovely motives - handy deflections. Pick up ball, shoot from long range, deflect off a defender ever so slightly, ball rolls over the line in the bottom corner.
Goal 3-5 // 12 Rizzo - Assist 14 Kermit
Rizzo starts and ends the move with his hat-trick, picking the ball up after the Norfolk player stumbled. With Gonzo passing to Kermit the assist was scooped waist height for Rizzo to somehow control and strike on goal.
Goal 3-6 // Norfolk & Chance
Straight from kick off the ball into the striker proved too simple, the clever instant turn with Big Bird committed to the tackle gave the striker the shot at goal, the sixth goal was conceded after such promising quick-fire goals.
Big Bird was left exposed by the pace of the fast striker as he wasted two further great chances coming off CBFC goal kicks including hitting the crossbar just on the edge of the box. Drama was not only on show in one half of the pitch, an attack forwards had a cross cut out, Rizzo chipped the keeper only to have the defender on the line head both ball and crossbar in one move, ouch indeed. Nick was at the far stick to shoot against the post. Norfolk bizarrely came through that scare with hearts pounding but the ball clear up the other end a cross to the far post almost ended up in the back of the net.

After missing a terrific chance with an absolute shocker of a shot, the next chance almost seconds later after a goal kick was won back, a calmly taken chip over Fozzie ended the scoring for the match.
