Outnumbered Yet Fought Proudly
Team News: Fozzie and Rizzo both returned to the starting line-up, Kermit and A. Muppet were unavailable while Oscar and Swedish Chef remain injured.
Previous Results: Played 4 Won 3 Lost 1 - Despite a new team name and kit Steau Needarest were the opponents. The previous loss coming off the back of Steau's new players but not apparent in the current Bukta side.
First Half
Unfortunately a severe lack of numbers caused the CBFC to play one man down. Both sides had chances to take the lead Bukta's shot crashing off the woodwork, Beaker failed to get the direction towards goal on his effort. Fozzie kept a shot heading for the near post bottom corner out with his feet.

After defending a corner and as a result of the man down, play was dwelled upon leaving Bukta to pressure and win the ball back. A well taken shot back across goal opened the scoring in just the 4th minute.
Goal 1-1 // 12 Rizzo - Assist 5 Gonzo
Beaker sends the ball into the box from a halfway line kick in. The clearance launched into the air is headed on target by Gonzo, Rizzo cleans up.
Decent play with Beaker and Gonzo exchanging passes, as soon as the chance presented itself Gonzo struck the ball through the legs to see his shot hit the outside of the post.
Goal 1-2 // Bukta Donesk
A long spell of possession and Bukta found the defence splitting pass they were after combined with a lovely first time shot back across goal to reclaim the lead.
Bukta were not playing to the advantage they were given, passing was slack, lack of movement of the players to exploit the space played into CFBC's hands. There was an opportunity for CBFC if they could keep themselves in the game. Chances came including the striker almost turning the ball into his own net, Rizzo latching onto a goal kick firing just past the post, Gonzo's cross deflecting past the same post. Rizzo worked the keeper well with a swerving shot come the 14th minute. Despite equalling the shot count of the opposition Gonzo and Fozzie played well to deny a possible goal with a few seconds to the half left. Beaker should have had the last laugh, the goal opened up for him with the last kick of the half, the shot finding the keeper.
Second Half
Quality through ball from Gonzo off the kick in gave Rizzo a chance at the shot at the keeper whom made a cracking save coming off his line.
Goal 1-3 // Bukta Donesk
Failure to deal with a corner despite outnumbering Bukta killed early half hopes. A pinball style goal was scored as the third shot crosses the line.

Tasty goal as the striker receives the ball turns and finds the top corner at speed, nothing anyone could have done to stop that.
Rizzo tests the keeper, Bukta push on unconvincingly for another goal while CBFC upped the pace to try and eat away at the deficit.

Bukta's strikers fail to combine, Beaker cleans up leaving Gonzo time and space to pick the ball through the centre of the defence, Rizzo takes the first touch on the turn to dispatch the ball in the bottom corner.
Fozzie takes over the saves with a couple of dangerous shots kept out as he keeps the net free from any further goals.
Goal 3-4 // 4 Beaker - Assist 12 Rizzo
Big Bird launches the ball over the defence, Rizzo stops the ball before it heads out of play picking out Beaker along the edge of the area. Throwing off the defender by checking back inside the shot is placed past the keeper off the defender's chest into the net.
Pushing for that equaliser the players could do themselves proud for the effort they had put in as they fought hard in the last few minutes. They were very close to conceding the killer fifth as the shot drifted past the far post. After a little kamikaze display Beaker beat his man and was away down the right wing he found Gonzo who laid off a lovely ball onto the path of Rizzo's run. It setup the one chance they wanted, Rizzo's right footed shot was so agonisingly close to the near post. So the final whistle went in an eventful game.
